Chapter 1
Once upon a time… Cody was driving home to Flagstaff, and decided to take a more scenic route. He found himself driving up a windy road in a beautiful forest. Before he knew it, he discovered he was downtown in a cute little historic town called Prescott, AZ. Regardless the town had captivated him; he knew he one day had to return.
Days hereafter Cody joined a circus; in which he learned of a beautiful performing acrobat with elf like qualities. He soon began to exchange letters with the elf girl. Upon exchanging letters Cody also learned that the elf girl hailed from the cute little historic town he stumbled upon earlier. Already wanting to return to the town of Prescott, Cody decided to make a journey to find the elf girl. But it wasn’t for another fortnight that he would get to meet her.
Chapter 2
When Cody arrived in Prescott, he wandered the streets in search of the elf girl. He was about to give up when he turned the corner. There she stood; an elven warrior, with boots knee high and a long bow strapped to her back… they could have also been juggling clubs. They spent a merry day juggling together until the sun had set.
Chapter 3
Rain can be an unfortunate event for first dates, but Cody and the elf girl simply enjoyed the rain as it fell on their unicycles during their time together. As the sun fell, the elf girl and the blue haired boy went for a walk to the top of a hill; a place the elf girl held dear; a place to the top of the town. They watched the rolling thunderstorm light up the distant sky and enjoyed what was the end of a perfect day.
Suddenly, fireworks began to shoot up from the center of town. It was an incredible surprise to see the fireworks and lightening illuminate the sky in unison. Was it 4th of July? No, just a random day in August. The serendipitous timing turned their perfect date, extraordinary.
Epilogue
For the elf girls 30th birthday, they voyaged to a tropical island far away. Cody had hatched a plan of trickery, to keep the elf girl as his forever. A plan that involved, beaches, sunsets… and a bent knee. When the time arrived, to his dismay, the beach was without a sunset to be seen. This could have been another unfortunate event for Cody, but instead he found opportunity. An opportunity that would recreate the magic of their first date.
The sun had set and darkness fell. Cody had asked the elf girl to enjoy the ocean sounds at night. They sat together on the beach for some time when suddenly, fireworks lit up the sky. “It’s like our first date” the elf girl said to Cody. Cody with a big smile asked the elf girl to stand. When told to stand up, she decided to pose for a picture and expected a bright flash from a camera. But instead she saw a ring that was lit up by the fireworks behind her.
We regret to inform you that we will not be having fireworks at our wedding. But we do invite you to come celebrate the beginning of our happy every after.
